The rest of the pictures from November

There is finally something on the November link under "Pictures". There might be more pictures from the christening coming as we're waiting for copies from another camera as ours lost it's battery half way through the ceremony and we had forgotten to give the spare to the camera man.

Adam's Christening

This Sunday was 1st of Advent, but also the day of Adam's Christening. Loads of pictures will come shortly, and in time a film as well. Adam was at his absolute best behaviour, sleeping through the ceremony up til the actual baptism and then being his sunniest for the remainder of it all.


With a whole bunch of 3-yearolds it was not a quiet affair but quite fun and lively with all the running around. Hugo managed to stay in for his two honorary tasks as big brother; pouring the water and then wiping his little brother's head after.


We sang hymns no 122 'Oh come all ye faithful', 606 'Det gungar så fint' and 193 'Gud som haver barnen kär' and it all was a rather swenglish event with some parts in English, some in Swedish and some yet in both languages. Adam had two godparents present, Mirjana and Angela, and then he gets an extra back home in Sweden - Mattias (Cissi's brother).

I söndags hade vi dop för Adam. Han uppförde sig exemplariskt till skillnad från treåringarna i sällskapet, så det var livat värre. Vi fick till en psalm på engelska (Dagen är kommen) men övriga på svenska. Själva dopgudstjänsten blev ganska blandat men jag tror de flesta hängde med. Fler bilder kommer hyfsat snart, och även en film med lite tur. Adam får tre faddrar (gudföräldrar): Mirjana och Angela härifrån (nåja, Angela är från Tasmanien och Mirjana från Österrike) och så morbror Mattias dessutom.
